| Bio: | There are two kinds of people in the Eastern Aegean: people who suck, and Achilles. Oh the dreaded bio. I live for words, literature and witty quotations ala History Boys. Not. On a somewhat more serious note; I am an ancient history graduate, currently gainfully unemployed (quelle surprise) - I have just returned from a year travelling various continents (the road of Alexander the Great and then some...) and currently find home a little claustrophobic, so I imagine a significant proportion of the next year of my life will involve lurking in various fandoms that take my fancy. I spent a semester of my degree abroad, studying in England. If you're planning on studying in england, I wouldn't ask me about my time there; my explanation will involve malnutrition, more partying than studying, pointless classes and clueless classmates. Not to mention the unspeakable horror of dealing with the English bureaucratic system and *gasp* banks. You're also more than likely to find (quite indefinitely before finishing this Bio) that I prefer the long over the short and, if I can get somewhere with fifty words and seven commas (not to mention bracket and double-brackets), I inevitably will. It's not something I do to purposefully annoy you, I promise. But at some point in my life, I picked up the habit (probably the same time I was ignoring the laws of English Grammar) and I can't for the life of me figure out any other way to write. I should also warn you in advance, I can be quite pretentious, head-strong and opinionated. I am, quite probably, wrong more times than I can count - certainly more times than I would admit to. I would like to think I listen to other opinions reasonably, but I might just be kidding myself. | |||||||||
